Programme Overview

The Respiratory Medicine Senior Residency training at NTFGH forms an integral part of the NUHS Respiratory Medicine training programme. Senior residents are posted to NTFGH for two months every year during their three years of training.

The main aim of this programme is to enhance the clinical competency of senior residents in adult respiratory medicine through exposure to a variety of clinical cases coupled with regular teaching sessions. Another part of training includes cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET), integrated chronic obstructive lung disease care management, pulmonary rehabilitation and sleep medicine with sleep clinics as well as general pulmonology.
