The psychiatry department at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital provides care for a wide spectrum of psychiatric conditions. We aim to enhance integration and partnership with mental health service providers in the community.

Adjustment & Stress Related Problems

When we encounter sudden or unexpected stress in life, it may become hard to cope with similar situations in future or with other aspects of daily life. Our team helps individuals who have insomnia unrelated to medical conditions to achieve a good night's sleep. Treatment ranges from counselling to medication.

Psychosis

Psychosis is a condition whereby one loses contact with reality, and can no longer distinguish between fantasy and reality.
