Cardiology is the branch of internal medicine that deals with the treatment of diseases affecting the heart and blood vessels. Our cardiovascular system is responsible for pumping and circulating blood throughout the body. It also carries oxygen and nutrients to all cells. Problems involving the cardiovascular system are classified as cardiovascular disease. Examples include coronary artery disease, heart failure, congenital heart defects, and valvular heart disease.

Our patients come to our specialist clinic through referrals from polyclinics or private practitioners. Their three common complaints are chest pain, breathlessness and palpitations. Our specialists also investigate abnormal ECGs and provide cardiac health screening.
