This service provides treatment for patients who have sustained a wide variety of injuries as a result of accidents. The care of these patients is carried out by a dedicated team who provides 24-hour consultant-delivered service. People who suffer serious injuries require specialist care of the highest quality to ensure the best chances of survival and recovery.
We utilise advanced techniques, including minimally invasive surgery, navigation-assisted surgery, 3D printing and arthroscopically assisted fracture fixation. Our multi-disciplinary team comprises surgeons, nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists sharing a common goal of facilitating a patient's recovery from serious injury. Our Anaesthesiology team is experienced in trauma anaesthesia and pain control, to help ensure a comfortable recovery from surgery. We also work closely with our reconstructive surgical teams to manage soft tissue defects after serious injuries such as open fractures.
