Needy Patients

JHF assists financially disadvantaged patients of JurongHealth Campus through two programmes.

Hearing Implant Programme

The programme enables patients diagnosed with severe to profound hearing loss, to access the latest hearing technologies and hearing rehabilitation. These implants enable patients to regain their hearing capabilities and independence while improving their overall quality of life.

Needy Patient Fund

Each year, the two hospitals receive more than 300 patients who are unable to afford essential medical treatments even after exhausting all possible financial means. The Needy Patient Fund steps in bridging the gap as a last-mile support by defraying medical treatment, medication and prescribed equipment. Through this, patients need not forgo care nor worry about looming bills and can instead focus on improvement in health.

Why We Need Your Support

The Needy Patient Fund gives out more than $200,000 worth of subsidies annually. Your donation will go directly towards covering costs such as:

  • Medical treatment (e.g. Interim private dialysis)
  • Hospitalisation fees and surgeries
  • Transportation (e.g. to and from the hospital via ambulance)
  • Medical and mobility equipment

Your donation will make an immense difference in the lives of our patients and by extension their loved ones. Big or small, every contribution provides a ray of hope for recovery.

How Can You Help to Double the Impact

We would like to seek your generous support through direct financial donation or employee fundraising efforts.
