"Blooms in Blue" is series of vibrant prints of flora and fauna in blue is a collaboration between 80 staff of JurongHealth and artists Cheryl Teo and Kong Chong Yew. A wide array of plant and flower imprints were created by staff over several workshops using a photographic printing process known as Cyanotype - one of the earliest methods of photography. The project allowed staff to preserve their fond memories of the lush greenery in Alexandra Hospital, where they used to work, and bring them to life in Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, in the form of permanent prints which now adorn the corridors of Ward B5, for all to enjoy.
