Dr Aftab Ahmad is the Head of the Division of Neurology in JurongHealth Campus. He practises as a Consultant in Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.
Dr Ahmad graduated in Medicine in Pakistan in 1994. He completed his fellowship in General Medicine in Pakistan and his MRCP in the United Kingdom before he underwent specialist training in Neurology at the National University Hospital in Singapore. He received the Healthcare Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) award and went on to complete his fellowship in Stroke & Cerebrovascular Disease in Canada in 2013.
Dr Ahmad’s main interests are in schemic stroke and transient ischemic attack. He has presented abstracts at various international scientific meetings and published articles in various referred journals.
