Inspired by stories of courage, resilience and hope, "Rise Above" is a series of more than 40 murals and prints of lush foliage in NTFGH's Chemotherapy Bay and Cancer Clinic. It was co-created by artist, Mary Bernadette Lee, and cancer survivors of the Singapore Cancer Society. It brings the healing power of nature indoors, creating an oasis of calm and serenity, and transforming the Chemotherapy Bay and Cancer Clinic into an inspirational, soothing and supportive environment. It serves to encourage patients to soar above adversity and embrace life. Watch how this art series was created.
