NTFGH Exercise Kingfisher April 2018

Our Healthcare Professionals

After three table-top exercises and three full-dress rehearsals, watch how our preparations culminate into Exercise Kingfisher—an assessment of our hospital’s emergency preparedness and response to a civil emergency. Since 2015, we’ve planned and coordinated numerous meetings, training sessions, table-top exercises and full-dress rehearsals to build on areas for improvement and shore up our preparedness. This exercise was also a good platform for us to leverage on our collaborations with key community partners - the Singapore Police Force, Singapore Civil Defence Force and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) volunteers from the People’s Association. Such close partnerships are important and can only lead to swifter and better responsiveness to any crisis.

We also want to say a big THANK YOU to our Emergency Planning Committee, our staff and JurongHealthCampus volunteers for actively participating in the preparations leading up to the Kingfisher and putting your best foot forward to make this experience as real as possible!
